To celebrate our 21st year the SSA is proud to announce that on the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd of September 2018 we will be holding an International Meeting in Sussex in the UK.

This year the Sussex Sword Academy celebrates its 21st birthday. We’ve been fencing, studying and teaching for over two decades and have decided to celebrate.

Our theme will be the history of the sword. We will be joined by leading instructors from across the world for two days of specialist workshops. Our venue is nestled in the medieval town of Arundel, home to Arundel castle and a short train ride from London and Gatwick airport.

We will be covering the breadth of historical fencing including longsword, rapier, broadsword, sidesword, and unarmed. There will also be plenty of time for sparring, meeting new friends, and exploring the local area.
