Longsword, Rapier, Broadsword at Capacity
We are thrilled to be able to say that attendance at the SSA is
flourishing and we have been humbled by the interest and enthusiasm shown by our existing and new members.
However this does mean that in three of our four forms we are at capacity and so at the moment we cannot take in any new students in broadsword, longsword and rapier.
There is still capacity in our unarmed classes and if you'd like to register for introductory session in that or be added to the list for when space opens up in broadsword, longsword and/or rapier then just use the Ready to come along? form to let us know.

Hello and Welcome
Founded in 1997, the Sussex Sword Academy (SSA) was established to study, practice, promote and revive the martial arts that were developed in European combat.
We began life as the Sussex Rapier School in Brighton in 1997, focussing primarily on Italian rapier. As our repertoire increased we decided to rename ourselves to the Sussex Sword Academy (SSA) to better reflect the range of weapons that we offered.
We meet each week at The Manor Sports and Activities Centre in Kemptown
